To renovate dorm rooms in the oldest building on the historic Flagler College campus, the work had to be done in the time between when the students moved out in April and they returned in August. In just four short months, A.D. Davis renovated 20 dorm rooms, giving the well-used ‘home away from home’ a facelift. The bathrooms in each dorm room were completely renovated including replacing old cast iron piping with new PVC pipe. All new cabinetry, floors, shower tiles and fixtures were installed. Electrical and plumbing were upgraded. A.D. Davis’ expertise in custom woodwork and historic renovation were key in the replacement of the intricate wood trim, which had to be perfectly matched to the historic dorm rooms’ interior trim and baseboards.
