Rob Matthews, President of Matthews Design, founded his engineering design company in 2005. The business grew quickly and Rob realized they needed to move out of their rented commercial space and find a permanent home sooner than planned. To accommodate their current needs and plan for the future, Matthews worked with A.D. Davis to build a two-story commercial space that would be the headquarters of Matthews Design, and would provide commercial lease space as well. The 6,900 square foot, two-story office building has two lease offices and 4,700 square foot of elegant office space for Matthews group. The low maintenance exterior takes inspiration from the City’s Spanish heritage. The interior features plenty of natural light, flexible office space and meeting rooms. The team of civil engineers, draftsmen, surveyors and planners now have a smartly designed space to meet their needs today and in the company’s growing future.
