Mary and Micah Clukey love their neighborhood in Davis Shores. What they didn’t love was their nearly 45-year-old home. In 2008, A.D. Davis Construction completed a total home renovation. From the outside, the remodel included the addition of a two car garage, the addition of a front porch to expand the interior and exterior entryway, new windows, new stucco and paint. Inside, the 2,800 sq ft remodel required stripping the house down to the bare frame. The home’s infrastructure – its plumping and electrical – was all upgraded and insulation was added to make the home more energy efficient. The floor plan was redesigned to add an expanded gourmet kitchen, new dining area, more closet space and a larger master bath suite. Old nagging issues like roof leaks and a noisy HVAC system were top priorities. Each bedroom and bathroom got a makeover.
