The Kemp’s could have taken advantage of a hot real estate market and sold their home in St. Augustine Beach to move to a bigger more modern space. But like many families, they loved their home and decided to renovate the space to make it more comfortable for their family. The Kemps remodeled the home in two phases. The first remodel added a room above the garage and redesigned the all of the first floor living space except for the master suite, which would be the second phase remodel. The second floor addition of 1,000 sq ft became the childrens’ bedrooms and bath. The kitchen was expanded and walls were taken down to make the first floor more open and modern. The second phase remodel was involved replumbing and expanding the master bath, adding a large walk-in shower, two walk in closets and custom vanity.
